Privacy Policy
The short version: Gharoba is free to use without an account, we don't sell your data, and the numbers you type into the calculator stay in your browser.
What we collect
- Nothing that identifies you is required. You can search projects, read reports and use the calculator without signing in or giving us your name, email or phone.
- Calculator inputs stay local. The price, income and loan figures you enter in the Affordability Calculator are used in your browser to show your numbers and are not stored on our servers.
- Basic, aggregate usage (like which pages are visited) may be measured to keep the service reliable and improve it — not to identify you.
- If you email us (for example, a correction request), we keep that message only to respond to it.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent or trade your personal data.
- We don't take money from builders to rank, promote or hide any project.
- We don't show advertising that tracks you across the web.
Third-party services
To provide maps, distances, photos, air quality and the news scan, Gharoba uses trusted third parties (including Google Maps/Places, Esri/Maxar imagery, OpenStreetMap, and an AI provider for grounded summaries). Your use of embedded maps is subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies. The property information itself comes from public MahaRERA and open-government records.
Data about projects and builders
Project and builder information shown on Gharoba is drawn from public government records, published in the public interest. It is not personal data about you. Builders or owners who believe an item is wrong or outdated can use our corrections process.
